Tuesday: Hello, Third Year Second Semester Enrolment! You got me there.. I was tired, it was a fun-filled day with a good friend :)
Hello, Third Year Second Sem!! :)Although I ain't ready to face you yet, and I'll be leaving.. I promise to be back!! :D Let's keep rocking, 3Philosophy! :)I miss you all! :D
Haha. Omggg! Is this so maarte for an earthly being schedule for the next sememster? :) Croo. I don't know how my day was, until such time that I've proven myself. "Awww. I'm gonna miss them, these people. Especially Zhea." Yeah, twas a pretty good thing that I spent my day wisely with her. I miss such old times, gaaah. First Year days. :) Sobraaa. We did extraordinary things we used to do before. "Ngayon nalang ulit natin 'to nagawa noh?" She told me. "Onga. And seems like, super tagal na nung last na nagawa natin 'to." Maybe, pag nagka lovelife tayo ulit, 'di na ulit natin 'to magagawa. Then I realize, she was right. Ako lang naman 'tong laging nagkakaboyfriend. :) Every sem meron. Ewan. That made me think deeply. :) But I promised her, "This time, I won't leave you. Pinky swear, 'di na muna ako magboboyfriend in the span of a year and a half, kahit katihin man ako along the way." :) That touched her daw. Even made her cry, almost. Well, that was pinky swear. And this time, I know I ain't gonna break it. Kapag swear lang kasi, madaling ibreak, pero kapag may pinky swear na, medj mahirap ibreak. And 'di ko pa natry. :)We met 1pm na yata at AB Pav, she was damn sleepy pa nga e. Idk. I felt happy to see her, kahit we were talking naman sa phone and sa cyber world nang walang katapusan nitong break. Super bilis lang ng enrolment, as in. Walang pila and all. Super bilis. Hahaha. We killed the day sa Plaza Mayor, talk about so many things. We're cute. Really cute. We were like best pals during our childhood days. Idk. We just super fit in together, super nagkakasundo. We ate at McDo carpark for about 2 hours yata, random talks. Walang sawaan. Ewan. Grabe pala no? Kami 'yung type nang friends na ayaw nang maghiwalay once nagbond na together. Omg. Naglibot kami sa buong UST. 6pm na kami naghiway. Syempre as always, hinatid ko siya palabas ng UST. :) It's good to say na.. Mamimiss ko siya. And it's better to hear from her that she'll miss me too :) :*
In my AB uniform, after enrolment. Jgh. :)
Psychology and Philosophy view the world in the same way. Don't they? So both you and I would take the view that unexplained phenomena are simply that and no more. Things we haven't yet explained but for which there is either a current explanation in terms of our existing understanding of things. Or for which an explanation may emerge in the future. Many waters cannot quench love, neither can floods drown it. :) I have to say that perfection implies an agreeable neighbor. Really, you're trouble, Saab is that, you agonize so much. You worry about everything. You need to be a bit more robust. Lay off the guilt for a while. It's not that easy, perhaps. Yeah, it's not that easy. But maybe easier than what I'm thinking. Look at other people, those positive people, perhaps a loved one. They don't worry about what they do all the time. You won't see them plagued by guilt. (Think about this)
I met this man, purely by chance, and he asked me: "What's it like? I know it may sound like a rather simple question, naive perhaps, but what's it like being a philosopher?" I answered: "One must cultivate one's garden. Said Voltaire, and there he said happiness is to be found rather than in philosophizing. I thought for a moment of the juxtaposition of philosophy and the everyday. "Voltaire and the control of weeds." You carry your profession with you, I suppose. You see the world in a particular way. Don't you? To an extent, being a philosopher though must be rather different from being anything else. You must think about everything. You must spend your time pondering over what things mean. A somewhat higher realm than the rest of us inhabit.
Lately, I've been thinking about weeds. But weeds, and what to do about them were very much a part of everyday life. And everyday life was exactly what philosophy was about. We were rooted in it, inevitably and how reacted to it. Our customs, our observances. It's much more mundane and everyday than you would imagine. One could easily simplify too much, and discussions about social convention could give them the wrong idea. How you drank your coffee was not it was about? But the fact that you drank coffee together was of tremendous significance. On a sudden note, I thought of a question, "What is the nature of friendship?" How are we to treat our friends? Can we prefer our friends to others who are not our friends? Weeds had a closer relationship with guilt than grass.
Do philosophers tend to have many friends? If that's the way they think. It depends on the extent to which they possess the virtues that make friendship thrive. A virtuous person will have friends in the true sense. A person whose character is afflicted with vices won't. :) Maybe it's best to know. Don't you think so? Maybe. But remember, there are some things which we would probably prefer not to know once we've found them out. This maybe one of them. I still had no idea what form this action should take. It was a curious, slightly disconcerting state to be in: To know that one should act, but not knowing how. It was rather like being in a phony war, before the bombs and bullets exchanged. :)
