UPLAKAN YOUTH CONVENTION

Goodness. anong petsa ako nagising? haha. mga 7 am na, eh. i have to be there sa school ng 7 am. (hmm. actually, kala ko kasi 8 am. kaya ayon, nag alarm ako ng 7) nakaalis ako ng house ng mga 7:35. shocking nga e, kasi kakatapos ko lang maligo, Jasmine texted me na, hinahanap na nga ako ni Ms. Angeles. aww, super kakahiya talaga. 8 am ako dumating ng school, nakakainis. ang bagal bagal talaga kasi ng byahe sa amin. ayon, sabi pa nung mga officers ko. "Good morning Ms. President" crap! sobrang nkakahiya, anyways. i wasn't the last one to arrive naman. that's the best part of it.

naalala ko kasi yung message na binigay sa akin ni kuya ian sa facebook, we can be late if we think 8 am is too early for us, and we can leave kapag sa tingin naming late na ang 5 pm. ayon. nakarating kami ng Malolos ng mga 9 am na yata yun. the event was held at University of Regina Carmeli, Calinangan Gym, Malolos. the night before pa lang, sobra na akong excited kasi ahead of time alam ko nangg guest speaker si Sen. Francis "KIKO" Pangilinan. pagdating namin, nagulat ako, Ate Milka was there. She's one of the usherette. I wasn't wondering na I would see Edward Sarrondo there, kasi I was actually expecting for him, since na.. He was the first one to inform me about this event. Nagparegister kagad kami, and we were given pocket dictionaries each. also, other guest speakers were Atty. Adel Tamano, Gov. Ed Panlilo and speakers from Gawad Kalinga, Galing Pilipino Movement and National Youth Commission. Emcees were Steno Padilla and Nikki. (both seen on McDo segement on youtube- McDo Baliuag)

nung una, feeling talaga namin, sobrang napaka boring. honestly sobra talaga, kasi that was really for the youth. then, mga 10 am na yata dumating si Sen. Kiko, everyone was stunned seeing him. Wondering, "bakit ganun? Iba hitsure niya." hmm, lubusan pa nga niyang inexplain, bakit daw common questions ng tao. "bakit sa tv ang liit niya, bakit sa tv ang itim niya, at bakit sa tv ang tanda niya?" hahaha. nakakatuwa nga ee. kasi in person, si Sen. Pangilan himself ay. matangkad, maputi at batang bata. hmm, actually totoo talaga. nastarstrucked nga kami e. and weirdly, we were looking for KC. ahaha.

he admitted that on 2010 he'll be running for the position of Vice President, and syempre as Independent hindi siya kakampi sa Admin o s Oppositon. ayon, sobra akong naamazed sa mga sensible words of wisdom na sinabi niya, from a Student Leader from UP Lakan, he's now a Senator of our country, and sooner or later be the next possible Vice President of the Philippines. i was actually preparing nga several questions para itanong sa kanya nung open forum, pero ewan ko ba. ang tapang tapang ko, tapos nasa harap at tabi pa ako ng microphone sa gitna, bigla na lang akong pinanghinaan ng loob. urgh. haha. (iba na pala kapag ang mismong Senador na ang kaharap mo.) ayon. after ng talk, everyone gave him an overwhelming and warm applause kasi super nakakaantig ng damdamin nga. who wouldn't think, from a Student Leader ayan na siya. how i wish someday, i could be like him.

hmm. nung paalis na siya, dinumog e. grabe. tinawag ko. sabi ko. "Senator Kiko!" tapos tumingin, bumalik. then kinamayan ko siya. My goodness, iba pala feeling kapag elite bachelor na ng bansa yung kinamayan mo, hindi lang artista. sobra. haha. ayon, nung palabas na siya ng gym, hinabol ko pa. nakatalikod na nga e, tapos sabi ko. "Senator Kiko, papicture po". aww, wrong timing naman ang emote ng camera ko, nawalan ba naman ng battery, kaya ayon. sa cellphone ko na lang. tsuk. anyways, pagkaalis niya, banda na. hmm, okay naman, noise barrage. haha, kahit super ambon sa labas, okay lang. nyahaha.

then, we told Ma'am Angeles, after maglunch we want to go home na, hindi na nga namin nakuha yung certificates namin e. Since we're on a rush. Past 1 pm na yata nung nkakain kami sa Greenwich. aww. super gutom kaming lahat. nyahaha. nalipasan na nga eh. ang saya saya ng bonding namin. Ang daming usapan. Gosh, what will happen nga kaya sa SC next school year? haha. kung ganun kami kagulo lahat. well for sure, napaka saya. hanggang sa pag-uwi super kwentuhan kami. sayang wala si Dominic, Jayvee at Juan Mig. unang lakad namin tong magkakasama and with Ms. Angeles pa, sana nga hindi na siya umalis e, para siya paden adviser ng Student Council next school year. I'm looking forward for more activities and travels for us. congrats.
