"Beauty is nothing but the beginning of terror, which we are still just be able to endure." ~Rilke

Too loyal to her craziness, to her depression, to be him. Confused about who to be, and therefore about who to love. Wanting to be everything and to love and be loved by everybody. An extravagant and ultimately exhausting desire. ~Julia Kristeva's Maternal Passions

We are not all psychotic, but we can all be crazy. Crazy for one another, because we are crazy for our crazy mothers.
~ Maternal passion is a prototype of all human passion.
~ We need to give up love, or at least distance ourselves from it, in order to find it beyond craziness and serenity.
~ Infinite reason is replaced by infinite passion in Kristeva's account. :)
~ The good overlaps the beautiful or alluring, just as the bad overlaps the repulsive or ugly.
~ No beast is there without glimmer of infinity, no eye so vile not abject that brushes not against lightning from on high, now tender, now fierce. -Victor Hugo
~ Such wastes drop so that I might live, until, from loss to loss, nothing remains in me and my entire body falls beyond the limit.
~ There are lives not sustained by desire, as desire is always for objects. Such lives are based on exclusion.
~ One does not know it, one does not desire it, one joys in it. Violently ans painfully. A passion. Approaching Abjection
